Nope they didnt, they knew Microsoft could only bring a cheap ass machine just like window (software) and it will be a paradise for hacker and the 360 is no exceptio. At least the PS3 can get a custom fw which is a 100 times better than hacking a windows machine. M$ has knowledge in programing shet where the PS3 lack ( that why xbox live has an edge over psn which they're doing it for the first time)
