They should have just followed the route they took with the ps3 and make the PSV's memory non-proprietary. This means Sony can sell these cards for however expensive they want and people are going to have to buy them.
This is a big disappointment.
Why are they comparing screenshots from the pre-rendered trailer? The only thing you are going to find different is the production choices they have made with lighting, modeling, texturing, ect. This is no way will give us a hint of the actual visual improvements in gameplay.
Nevertheless, the changes they made with the lighting in the pre-rendered scene does look better than the older one.
To be honest, I really don't want a GF that plays games. Just think about all of the testosterone filled douchebags when you play games Online. The minute they hear a girls voice, they go insane and hit on her like wild animals; no self control. I really wouldn't feel comfortable knowing that there is 20 dudes hitting on her at the same time. Some girl gamers I know don't even use voice chat online for this sole reason.
No, these aren't active shutter glasses. As the title says, this is a "Passive 3DTV". Meaning, it uses the same technology you see in the Movie theaters with the cheap glasses they give out for free. You could probably buy a whole bunch of these glasses on Amazon for an extremely low price.

Normal maps, textures, and specular maps are NOT the same thing.
Texture is basically the image.
Normal maps can fake bumps and curvs in a polygon, without having to put in extra details in actual polygons.

In this case, the 360 has better textures, specular maps, normal maps, and better anti-aliasing.
Ps3 looks like it's using Quincunx Anti-Aliasing on the ps3, which is commmon in most Multiplat games. It basically does the same thing as 2X MSAA, except it doesn't target specific polygon edges, so the effect just blurs the whole image, instead of blurring polygon edges like 2x MSAA does.
