I thought I was the only person who received an insane PM from him. Good to know he's crazy as f*ck all over the place lol. Seriously were talking about video games here people- it's for entertainment not life and death topics.
I'll def be picking up a PS3 come Xmas, or maybe sooner and this is on my must have list as well as Folklore. I played and beat Folklore at a friends house and was just marveled by that game. It really doesn't get enough love.
people have to eat crow once this game comes out and the story blows everyone away. This is like a repeat of Eternal Darkness, so much hate but then once it came out people were blown away.
Don't think this is the SK game because this is so not horror, nor does it have the SK style.
that everybody wants to be Nintendo from that Interview, dear God, the way things are going all of them are going to have the same stuff and trying to be Nintendo at the same time. Be Sony, do what you do and let MS be MS for the hardcore.
surely be making some more badass games and since the man hates Sony prob 360 only.
your right Sony took that motion thing but a half-step with the sixaxis now word is their going all out. They are getting "trophies" and in-game dash now. Everyone is copying from everyone. MS is doing the same, I'm thinking this whole one console future just may happen.
ARE U for real...OMGZ, so lemme get this straight this is gonna replace all the money ive spent on stupid gamer tag pics. I'm getting angry...wtf seriously MS...ahh whatever. At least my gf now will think my xbox is cute LOL
it's an adventure game, I know those don't do as well as they did in the PC days but Heavy Rain is supposed to be an adventure game like Indigo Prophecy.
but I was expecting more, still looks awesome but I guess I was expecting something that would blow even KILLZONE away.
damn right it is. I'm on my third 360. First one the gpu went to crap and the second ones ethernet port was fried by a power surge (NOT MS'S FAULT) but the gpu going to crap was. I've invested a lot into the system thats why I keep going back. I don't want to lose all my digital games and so on.
F*ck them for thinking it's ok to keep doing it, they need to fix the damn thing and thats it.
Sony owned 19 percent of Square-Enix...Interesting stuff.
theres a little thing called PRICE POINT and NINTENDO first party software which is always awesome.
impressed, the game is looking beautiful. I love the art direction and so much color. I love color in games, it's about damn time!
has a hell of a good track record so I'm there day 1. Most of their games have been story heavy hybrids. Legacy of Kain was and so was Eternal Darkness both were amazingly rich games that had me saying wow. The hell with the haters, I'm giving it a try.
that MS has a lot to show off, but a good deal of it won't be at E3 and instead be an X0 event, as they've usually done in the past. Who really knows but the 360 is far from dead. People need to remember there is more than just Fable 2, Too Human and Gears 2, now theirs also Infinite Undiscovery and Last Remnant.
I hope this means more home grown IP's for MS.
man a cookie!!
Halo Pacman...can't wait! I kid, blah....
One thing I just wanted to touch on though no one gives a damn is the whole "This won't sell in Japan" idea. Guess what folks, not much is selling there besides non-games and Wii stuff. Sure the PSP has it's one and only must have title "Monster Hunter" but besides that software sales for that system are kind of bleh. Japan today is not the gaming epic center it once was, I know it's hard to accept; now dry those nostalgic gaming tears. It's not all doom and gloom, it's si...
GameSpy: The big announcement is that The Last Remnant is coming first to Xbox 360. Is this a marketing decision, or were you having trouble working on the PS3?
Square Enix: This is mainly for development reasons. We're developing the game using the middleware Unreal Engine, and the Unreal Engine has a slower development on the PS3 side. It was only really workable after Unreal Tournament was published, so this was mainly a development decision.
