Well that's the end of HD DVD, it was a nice run folks. Now comes the fire sale and I'll stock up on flicks for mad cheap. Good to know this retarded format war is over. So my question is; when does the stand alone blu-ray drive for the 360 ;) hahaha
learned by now that all MS rumors are true. This new system is a slap to the face and a kick to the groin to all Premium 360 and elite owners. So basically MS has decided to screw us, I myself paid 400 for a damn premium, 179 for an HD DVD player and then 100 for the wifi. I was better off buying a PS3, which I now own -- and does all of that for 400 bucks!!!!
I'm telling you once the torrent of PS3 games, hit -- MS is going to hell.
be a much better year for the PS3, but I still can't see it matching the X360 in install base at least in America. Japan is another thing altogether, I'm sure that the PS3 will be the system to own there... along with whatever new thing Nintendo comes out with. Either way, the 360's install base is just huge and it's software sales are just damn insane, it's not going to change anytime soon.

He knows what DRM is for dammit, his argument is that DRM is flawed and in such a way that in case your unit breaks on you your screwed. In fact he makes the point of saying that DRM is a good idea, but in the end it will bite consumers in the @ss. He's not a PS3 fanboy. The man has 80 arcade games - He just wants to play them offline. So it's not that at all, DRM sucks and it's all bullcrap, yet MS doesn't care.
It's if anything a fantastic console, just one that has not hit it's stride yet. I'm sure in a year it will finally have the games it needs to take off. Hopefully Sony has some good games in store for gamers that we don't know about.

lately LIVE has been pure @ss, it's been having lots of problems...and yet I pay for it. So whatever...at least PSN is free and it hardly ever has problems.
no other game can be Metal Gear, because let's face it -- Metal Gear has a history. It would be refreshing to see something new. It would be nice to see something stealth action that can continue the action of games like MGS. After all Kojima say's this is the last MGS, gamers need something.

too many people spend a buttload of money on some of these high end HDTV's and are basically just feeding it crap. I just upgraded my TV and just got a new gold plated HDMI cable to my 360 and let just say as well that an HDMI connection makes a HUGE difference. I used to think it was BS and that component connection was good enough for HDTV's and well it's really not. As soon as I get my PS3 next week I'm hooking it up via a quality HDMI connection as well. To get the best from these TV's yo...
