Blimey, this seems controversial.
Can understand why the fanboys are getting a tad steamed, but to be honest you can't argue that this looks impressive and does bode well for iPhone games (whether it worries Sony and Ninty or not - expect touch screen on PSP2 ;-))
Sure there are much better looking PSP games (have to disagree with those who think DS can do 3D, it's a great device but it just can't!) but you have to bear in mind that this is day one test code after having like a co...
Bit pointless having those pixels without a decent lens or zoom though isn't it? And why's there straight-forward phone news on a gaming site?
Bah, first Tetris now Bejeweled! Guess we shouldn't be surprised but would be great to see some original IP games for iPhone (says man who just complained about Trism). Still I guess it's v.early days yet - am looking forward to see what people make of Cro-Mag rally and Spore (not original I realise, but!)
Another format....another version of Tetris! Glad to see this didn't get a top score. Tetris was a great game but come on guys it's over 20 years old let's move on now! [Pauses to listen to sounds of thousands of people buying yet another version of game as it leaps to top of sales chart..sighs]
So this is the best game on iPhone so far then? Looks a bit like Tetris with triangles
...how many days do you give this handset before Nintendo's legal department get to it? ;-)
Looks fabulous and you can't argue with 10/10 I guess! Is PSP finally coming of age?
Looks kinda cool that, a must have mobile game?!!!
Succinct, I like it! ;-)
And I submitted it! Was trying to see who voted it lame. LOL. :)
Agree re: the platform. As for the title of the story, it's a joke about how PSP is always written off by DS people on the forums etc (it's doomed etc = oblivion). Oh well :)
Interestingly Pocket Gamer also wrote the inverse article and put both live at the same time (well positive one slightly earlier), yet no mention of that in any of the comments. An interesting social experiment in the world of rabid fanboyism?
