I agree, it is a very bold statement to say. Time will tell. Either way, I'm hyped for this game. I loved the first one, and I will probably love the second one ever more. I have faith in Valve and I don't think they'll mess up this one. I just wish they would show us something that has to do with Episode Three.
I don't think you can really compare the two, yes, both of them are First Person Shooters, both are made by Valve, but they are completely different genres. Portal is a puzzle game basically, and TF2 is an Online team based shooter. With that said, both of them are fantastic games and I don't think Portal 2 will disappoint fans.
But it's funner this way! :P It's always interesting when they come up with new flamebait titles.
I scratched my head at that too, but oh well. I have Uncharted 2 and Heavy Rain to keep me busy. I'll be ok not being able to play BC2 for a little bit. I just want EA to fix the server problems they've been having.
That was an AMAZING level. I loved it. Uncharted 1 and 2 will be two PS3 games I will never sell. One of my favourite games of all time.
If it means they get the multiplayer working properly, do what you gotta do.

I agree with you completely. The only thing that will replace a mouse + keyboard is actual virtual reality when we actually get to that sometime in the future. I HATE playing BC2 on my PS3 because the game moves so fast that you need precision. But, thanks to the recent "Steam coming to Mac" announcement, I'll be able to play Counter-Strike, HL 2, L4D2 ect. all on my MacBook Pro.

Natal and Move are going to be epic failures. Microsoft and Sony are trying to make money off the casual market which Nintendo has locked down. You're basically saying that Natal is going to be God's gift to gaming, you couldn't be more wrong. Just watch.
So...that would mean it's a timed exclusive. If they're releasing it on one platform when it's ready to launch on all three and they choose one, yeah, that's a timed exclusive that M$ probably paid for.
This game, at the moment, is a freaking joke online. Every server I join, I get a horrendous amount of lag and it's unplayable for me right now. Whether it is EA or DICE's fault, they need to fix the server asap. I paid almost 80 bucks for this game, I expect it to work. If they don't have it fixed by 31st, I'm returning it. MW2 is less laggy for me.

I read the title and I all I did was yawned. Traded that "game" in weeks ago.
I guess the 360 version was having problems letting their users find servers. I have this game for the PS3 and I've never had a problem finding a game. I've been disconnected once, it's just that EVERY game I join, I leave about a minute later due to the horrendous amount of lag. The game is unplayable for me right now.
This game is looking good! I'm looking really forward to it.
