Actually I wrote an open letter to Call of Duty players a couple years back. That one really pissed people off! But that’s the world we live in. “If it’s not something I agree with then I hate you and am angry cause you don’t like what I like damnit!”
It’s retro ;)
If you read it, he says he did it because I (the editor) asked him to as a personal favor and I only asked because I know what a big fan of Kojima he is. It is the only game I asked him to cover this year because he is so busy.
Good luck finding someone who writes about games and makes a living off of it. None of our writers are paid and this writer in particular purchased his copy with his own money. All of us at Electric Bento have other jobs because if you aren't Ninja or some very popular streamer, you aren't making any significant money.
Thank you. This is a great counter point and and opens up conversation instead of just getting angry and lashing out. Respect.
Am I missing something? I read this twice and didnt see anything that would flag this as "feminist and LGBT"...
I have been doing it all wrong this whole time, the secret to getting page views is to name an article something so ridiculous everyone has to see what the writer is going on about.
Pumped for this
Thanks for catching this. Can't believe I did that after editing the damn thing multiple times. :(
and mobile this time!
writers and press rarely get paid these days. Even the big sites who do pay, dont pay much.
That's how professional reviewing works... thanks for playing!
Nope, a bunch of us here agree with Blair and do see that they HAVE many things in common. We don't publish clickbait. We stand by our writers and their opinions.
You seem to forget that Netflix used to be only DVD via snail mail. That is the comparison, it was a hybrid, offering a large library of software (in Netflix case, movies via disc) and online play. But I feel like you are just nitpicking the article so do not really see a point in arguing with you. Also 1982?
Cannot wait for this!
Thanks?
Not sure what the confusion is. These are games we want to see remastered. Not remade.
I actually agree with you on this, but everyone has their own opinions of each game. I personally hated 8, but 9 is in my top 3. - Chris Electric Bento
I’m glad you like it!
