if oyu want to play PS2 games buy a PS2 damn, Sony is selling all theirs sotcck of PS2 for cheap price, here in my city i just saw a PS2 for 89$ NEW ( in the Sony Store), but i bought a ps3 to play ps3 games, but if you want to play PS2, buy one, now that they are cheaper that before....

I'm not sure what number of players have to do with it. Hype is the reason there was so much people. There were a million pre-sales so even if the game sucked there would still be a million players playing it to not waste the money.
