That's the point, someone in Brazil is pawning off bootleg copies of a video game that doesn't even exist yet. That's jumping the shark is it not?
Personally I agree, and yah it'll cost the consumer a bit more ... but the publishers from other countries who want their titles readily available and more importantly, price effective in the US will then allow an American manufacturer create their box, copy and materials... bringing us both probably the same exact price AND more jobs, AND more money from outside coming in... Sounds like a win win, win win win... to me. But who am I anyway....
Curious, are ANY of these items actually new to anyone? Like first time you've ever seen it, and worth considering getting because of that fact alone? Just curious.
Square had a good platform to write for in Nintendo. Growing pains and evolution changes everyone, i'm sure they aren't ungrateful for their prior joint successes. They just don't need to be pinned under exclusivity if it's going to hurt the bottom line in regards to Square. Nintendo's stockholders can't be happy with losing a franchise no matter how you try to sugercoat this story. Square will be just fine regardless, of that much i'm sure we all can be certain....
