My PS4 booted from stand-by in 25sec. Recorded it last night. The system was a bit cold since I had just powered it on. I'll check the power up time today.
I was also kind of skeptical about it, which is why I wanted to try it out. I did a speed comparison with a few buddies of mine. 3 of us Installed BF4 at the exact same time. The single player portion was ready to play almost instantly. Theirs took a few minutes, but what really impressed me was that the full game installation was done in almost half the time of theirs.

@Rev-T So did the 1.50 update affect the PC versions BF4 and COD as well? Both of which are on record to have persistent problems on PC (Crashing, Extreme FPS drops, lag...etc). Guerilla has stated that they are putting out a patch to improve performance, yes. However, I'm about 8 chapters in to the story and have easily logged in about 20 hrs on the KZ MP. I have experienced one crash. Point is...devs do not patch according to faulty FW updates. Sounds more like FUD than facts.

Edit: btw I'm running a 7200rpm HDD in the PS4 which as of now has produced no more heat than my PS3 would (Knock on wood).
Could you enlighten us as to how the PlayStation 4 broke Battlefield? As far as I know, PC version is a complete disaster, and EA is putting out a patch next week on the PS4. Sounds like a developer issue to me.
You would think with 720p Larry would be promoting a smaller screen.

I'm loving the SP mode. Its not the shooter on rails that a COD or previous KZ SP was (Though I like those types of games as well). The changes that KZ sp have are refreshing. It has become slower paced and methodical if you choose to play it that way. There are many ways to tackle an obstacle. Owl really makes for a nice addition as well.

Been running some heavy hours on my PS4 with a 7200rpm Hdd. No noticeable heating. No loud noise. I'm very impressed thus far. Ill keep you guys posted. Today will be another long day it for it. ;)
