Well I prefer the latter if you ask me...
I'm sorry, but these environments look far better than the original Motorstorm. I'm liking the real time shadows of the trees and how the mountains look.
Media Molecule is not owned by Sony, and this is their first game besides Rag Doll Kung Fu. Now, as we can all see, Little Big Planet is going to be one hell of a game and I bet Sony will take Media Molecule under their wings as they seem to be a valuable asset to what the Playstation brand represents, innovation.
THIS is what I was talking about earlier. Qore is going to release this demo and us non-Qore subscribers get shafted! When do we non-Qore users get the demos Qore users get early? If ever? This is why I will not support Sony when it comes to Qore. I am a die hard Sony fan, best in the console business, but Qore is just something I wont support. Or at least until free users get demos as well as the Qore users. Online magazine FTW, playing favorites FTL.
With the amount of jaggies in these shots, I can fully believe it is in-game.
But still, that last shot is incredible if truly in-game.
This is a bit offensive if you ask me. I care if my games are running at a native high definition resolution. I didn't buy this 40" HDTV so some lazy developers could decide to take the cheap and easy way out and render MY games at a sub-HD resolution! If I'm paying the full price of a game, I should get a full game. This is why I refuse to support EA and such, as them selling a file in the 10-100kb size range for $1.99 is insanity because they're just unlocking something you already pa...
Hahahaha! You only have one bubble...
What in the world are you talking about? Unreal Tournament 3 was meant to be PS3 exclusive until Epic announced it to be multiplatform. Thus the PS3 was announced first. Then at E3 '07, Sony announced that it would be hitting the PS3 as a timed exclusive. Next time, dont talk out of your arse please.
There is no doubt in my mind games can be as, if not more, impactful as books or movies. Take Heavenly Sword for a great example. I will proudly admit that there has been but one movie to make me tear up and shed a few tears near the end. Heavenly Sword is one of the two games that I have played that have made me tear up and shed a few tears it was so deep. The other was Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Phenomenal games. Simply phenomenal.
This just shows how much the Japanese detest the Xbox 360. Look at Ninja Gaiden Sigma's first week sales. 44,531 units. Now I know this is but Ninja Gaiden II's first day....but come on, who here thinks it'll sell twice as much in the coming week? Anybody?
Oh, and those are some pretty decent Dragon Ball Z PS3 sales...haha am I the only one that thinks the "Uncountable" numbers for the PS2 game is hilarious? The sales must have been in either of two extremities, outrage...
I'm sorry but I MUST correct you. Uncharted's cut-scenes were in fact skippable. Just pause the cut-scene, go down and press "Skip Movie". I am still amazed how Uncharted gets away with no loading times (or VERY short ones). I wonder if that longish loading screen when you boot the game caches some data to the HDD, and when you exit the game, it deletes it...
Well so far we haven't lost anything to Qore, but I'm still a bit skeptical...I know I read somewhere that Qore users get demos first. First is the key word here, as this means us free users might have to wait to get it...that, is what I will not stand for.
As I understand it, Qore users get exclusive invites into betas, which is fine by me, as they are indeed paying and its a perk. Although, as I understand at the moment, they get demos before free PSN users. Please prove me wrong if you can, as this has been pissing me off all day and yesterday.
You guys are missing the point to this article.
"How long before non-Qore subscribers get access?"
That's my main question, spot on! I refuse to support anything that plays favorites with its users. So if my friend is paying for Qore, will he have access to a demo a week(s) earlier than me? If this is the idea, then I refuse to partake in it.
I'm all happy with people wanting to pay for the magazine pat of Qore, but I better not be given a de...
I just watched the trailer, and I must say, this game just flew up to my top ten most wanted games this year. It left me speechless! The draw distance near the end it unbelievable! The animals looks amazing, the lighting at night with the flashlight looks so cool. The animals eyes glow when light is pointed at them in the dark. I can't wait to drive my jeep around what looks to be an enormous map with my friends (heres to online co-op!).
Day one purchase for me, no doubt about th...
I must say, you simply do not cease to impress me with your dedication on bringing us readers content before anybody else. I mean, with all of your 2.40 firmware update information, the PS3mote, this Afrika news, and so forth. You are one of the few people I have respect for on the internet my friend, keep up the tremendous work!
I must confess, I admire this mans commitment and desire to have an equal experience to what others are experiencing. I have already signed this petition, but if I could sign it again, I most definitely would.
Glad to see you getting the credit you deserve Sev, I've been reading your comments on the rumors for the last couple days and other people were credited. Keep up the great work my friend.
Resistance 2: The Last Guy...that was a great laugh...anyway I bet it's going to be another awesome PS3 game.
I think this game is going to be far more "dark" than Crackdown ever was. Still, I loved the open ended co-op world of Crackdown! Here's to inFamous co-op!
