It's timed, I have already put money on it. Plus, this and Left For Dead is timed. Valve can not ignore the PS3 user base, its far too big now.
It would be for the better of the game for every console to Dev on PS3. Although, it would be even better if each console was deved on individually.
Either way, they NEED to use a better engine. Epic was supposed to "wow" everybody with GeOW2 showing off what the engine was capable of, but they failed to impress. The water looked like pudding.
