*Claps like never before* Wow! Just wow! Like someone said already an excellent looking and playing multiplayer game without guns! Sony Santa Monica are just magic.
I think Wonderbook is very good. My nieces and nephews have seen the video for it and love it. Its aimed at kids and I think it does a pretty good job of attracting their attention.
I believe its still exclusive. Rockstars website says so. And they're the kind of developers that don't say much about their new game then BAM! Agent will probably be the swansong of the PS3 hence the silence.
Damn Wonderbook ruined it. It dragged on tooo long. If it was like a 2-3 minutes thing fine but even longer! Blimey Sony. Wonderbook is very interesting and innovative but I got lost in the super looooong demo.
The worst Sony E3 I've seen but it's still way better than Microsofts annual borefest. God of War, The Last of Us and Beyond nailed it for me, for that alone Sony gets a solid B+. An A- would have been revealing some other new characters in All-Stars apart fro...
Lala go back to lalaland! Timed exclusive is a staple of Microshit (strong dislike for everything microsoft). Originality is a staple of Sony.
OH MY GOSH!!! Brilliant! Now this is how a Transformers game should be. Mr Bay take note, THIS IS Transformers not the shitty studd you made into films.
Stunning!!! So happy this game has got a firm release date.
Pathetic! Person who wrote this is a deluded moron.
I agree games like these are nbearly extinct. All I see on game shelves are first person shooter after shooter after shooter.....
Yep! Good stuff from Uncharted 3.
Hehe indeed we are from the same era of gaming!!! Thanks guitar_nerd_23 I will be sure to give that game a try. Starved of JRPG's this gen, when in the heydays we couldn't get enough. It was like a conveyer-belt of quality JRPG after another.
Exactly! People fail to understand JRPGs are not about graphics they are about stunning storylines, engrossing characters and a brilliant battle system all in one package. The standard bearer of JRPG's used to be Final Fantasy in my opinion but after Final Fantasy 10 i.e. after the Square and Enix merger to form Square Enix, we are yet to see a great Final Fantasy that can stand proudly side by side with its elder siblings Final Fantasy's 1-10. It seems to me the magic that was Square...
I agree with you 100%! For me the golden age of my gaming was the PS1 days. I remember playing games like MGS1, Final Fantasy 7-9 and being absolutely absorbed by the characters and story. For me the engrossing storyline and characters of Final Fantasy & and MGS1 are a shining example of Japanese gaming at its best. Brilliant storyline, brilliant characters, brilliant gameplay all packed in one. As good as Uncharted etc. are they don't stand a chance against these games of yesteryear....
DAY ONE PURCHASE!! THIS IS AWESOME!! OK calmed down now....seriously I get the play 3 of the best platformers the PS2 ever had on the PS3. Top stuff!!!
This guy is a genius. In every sense of the word, I personally think Microsoft have struck gold with this one. Now lets hope they listen the the guy. If I remember correctly wasn't it Phil who greenlit LittleBigPlanet? Guys a damn genius! Sony....why should they worry? They have their own gem in Kaz Hirai.
What a loada cra*!!! Got it on PS+ and its bloody great!! Such a unique game in every single way possible. Whats really catching is the music and the art style. Kudos to the Composer and Art Director they've both done a super job! 10/10 game for me!!!
Bang on the money! They just gave a 8/10. Confirmed!! Hehe!!
I really admire Toshihiro san. Yakuza has fast become of of my fav gaming series. And he's right on the money about Japanese games. A lot of Japanese game developers are having an identity crisis this gen, on the games they're making and who its targeted towards. In the PS1 and PS2 games games from Japanese developers were awesome. Now...few and far between...at least Toshihiro, Kojima and Yamauchi san are rolling out great games.
Indeed a standing ovation! *Claps like mad* Ok now that the formalities are done...I agree 100% Square Enix have forgotten what made their games so great to play. From Final Fantasy 1-10, each game was unique, absorbing story, brilliant characters, awesome battle systems and stoodout on its own as a great game. Vagrant Story was awesome as well. It looks like this merger with Enix has killed off the magic. The only magic left is Nomura san, and who knows how much control he has over the games...
For me personally I want this generation to go on for longer. The PS3's back catalogue of games is stellar and there are numerous games I want to play, not only that, Sony are bringing out new games like Beyond and The Last of Us which look and will play amazing (based on the developers past games). Not to mention God of War; Acension!!!
