I've played halo, but it became dull after halo 2. I must admit playing multiplayer in halo and halo 2 were some of the best moments i had playing a shooter(especially when the whole class played 8-). However, i'm not a halo fanboy, i own a ps3 now, shooters aren't my fav. any more
I'd simply say it's because every year the number on console owners grows, and many of these owners both 360 and PS3 are told that the call of duty series is the best in it' class. So the newcomers add on to the previous sales, and replace those who choose to boycott activision and call of duty.
Guess i'll get the news out to my friends lol, they won't hesitate to get this anymore, i still will, rather get it for free(xmas gift). Got to much to take care of, plus i set a limit for my luxuries.
Best collector's edition would have to go to Uncharted 2. Only handed out within contests and give-aways. That's the true meaning of collector's edition.
