You can download both Persona 3 and 4 (And SMT3 Nocturne, also extremely good) from the PsStore on the PS3. At least in the USA.

Tbf, matchmaking wasn't. But that's because pretty much no one made it past rep 2.
And I myself am not experiencing a lot of connection errors or lag.
The only issues with the game are its matchmaking and connectivity.
The updates are free though, inlcuding all future DLC.

The gear isn't the problem when it comes to steel. That's relatively cheap and by the time you can actually get decent gear you'll have more than enough steel.
The real problem is the fact that the real cosmetic stuff, like emotes, effects, executions and the like are ridiculously overpriced.
Then in return we should also have a system that prevents idiots from commenting without having read the article.

If I wouldn't buy a game due to it having awful graphics, that would make me a hypocrite.
