@Fishy
I'm speaking out against the business strategy in general, rather than this game in particular.
Like I said before, I don't hate this game, I just don't care for it.
I do like seeing people shitting on things though. Why else would I stay on this site?
@Maybelovehate
Carry on doing what?
I don't care about the game nor do I hate on it. Just offering a potential explanation.
People know that.
These cosmetics and emotes could've been unlockables, but no.
Money.
I suppose it's standard for arcades?
There will be a 1v1 option, yes.
"Grown men"
Making a lot of assumptions there.
Not even the best game in its own series, let alone this gen or all time.
It's not you, it's them. You seem to have good taste!
Implying that would've convonced the steam playersbase to keep playing.
No.
Now this list is just plain bad.
It's great, but far from the best in the series and even further from greatest game of all time.
Not even close for me.
Most ATB games let you decide the speed for yourself though.
The Paradigm system was the least fun ATB based system I've ever played (subjective ofc).
I really hope they'll never use it again.
Whilst I might sound like a broken record by now, I really hope they'll go back to ATB based combat with the next installment. I enjoy action as much as the next fellow, but it's time to go back.
Agreed. Although certain pieces should've been in the game from the start. (Story DLC)
Then again, deadlines are bitches.
Still beats the Elder Scrolls' combat if you ask me. The melee aspect at least.
@Godmars290
It's open for interpretation.
Mine is that only Noctis died.
She's dead Jim.
JRPG's tend to have a more complex combat system, and a deeper story (thematically) but also tend to suffer from certain anime tropes at times.
WRPG's on the other hand often have superior storytelling and dialogues but their combat is can be shallow and their story is often just blockbuster-ish.
It all depends on what you prefer. I like both, with a preference for JRPG.
