I can tell you now I have various Raspberry pi setups. And they run fantastic. Keep your bulky xbox, I will stick with my mini Megadrive and Snes pi cases which look great. And take up less space.
Yes after seeing the Unreal 5 ps5 reveal, I thought that's where we were heading. But saying that I have read various articles that suggest its easy for developers to still work on Unreal 4 and carry everything over to Unreal 5 when needed, we shall see.
When will we see games using Unreal 5 ?

Don't have this problem with Snes, Megadrive. Still going strong. And if cartridge battery dies easy enough to replace. Modern tech hey.
I have original cartridges, discs. But I also have plenty of bootleg stuff, raspberry pi, Mame setups. The bottom line is I refuse to pay silly prices on Ebay for original stuff. Check out Spriggan powered on Snes for example. Have a bootleg cart for 21 quid. Preservation of games is key. The industry as a whole doesn't seem to care that much.
I got a ps5 and series s at launch, im happy that I did. But to be honest I still think Sony and Microsoft should of launched later this year instead. Obviously the pandemic has caused nothing but problems in production of the systems. Games are being postponed to enable the console user base to grow that's Obvious. Games won't sell to their true potential if not. Doesn't help the early adopters or the ones fortunate enough like myself to have bagged a system.
Once the PS5 and Xbox series, eventually break away from last gen designed engines will the true power be realised

Said it before, and I'll say it again, sometimes we just got it wrong!! This console was/still is amazing. Most just got sucked in by the hype of ps2. Yes the ps2 was the better system, but certainly not a lot better. The Dreamcast deserved to coexist next to it like Xbox, Sony, Nintendo do today. The soul still burns.
Looks more amazing, and intriguing every time I see this game. Day one I think.
To be honest the ps3 version wasn't good, the unreal engine was never as good as 360 anyway. I think that's what put me off this game.
