VF = best fight series of all time.
I miss my Akira / Shun... if only it were more popular.
Currently playing MvC3 and wishing I was back on VF5:O
It's definitely worth it to me. Anyone getting SC2 is mainly getting it for the multiplayer, which is the best around when it comes to competitive RTS games. You can throw an infinite amount of hours into SC2's multiplayer and keep progressing.
SC2 will soon be the biggest e-sport around (just like Brood War is currently) and it's even getting a lot of attention from companies such as MLG in the states.
That being said, SC2 is a very hardcore game, though Battle.ne...
because if it did, surely he would have used it on himself next!
But that doesn't mean I'm not going to keep my eye on it. Kojima's involvement is always iffy... he seems to somehow always get drawn back into a major role in development.
I've been away for the holidays and have been playing my DS a good bit.
There is no reason this game should get such a low score. I could imagine some disliking the stylus controls, but other than that it's another solid portable Zelda.
But this is a fairly decent list.
The only one that I don't think deserves a spot is Prince of Persia... I beat that game, but it doesn't really stick in my mind as too WOW heavy.
Mine probably wouldn't have Halo (was never a fan) or Metroid Prime (though it was a great game).
The main thing missing is SotC. That entire game is WOwwwwwwwww.
I'm sure camping is annoying to the idiots who do nothing but sprint around the map looking for the next person to knife...
Seriously though, I found the best tactic is to mix it up. Kill 1 or 2 people from a good spot, and then move to another area close to where you originally were. Generally people will want to go for a "payback" and will be looking for you at your old spot. The whole while you've set up a new ambush.
To Allroundgamer: If you just wan...
Beat the single-player in NO TIME. It really shouldn't even be there if you ask me. The game is getting top scores, but that's only because of the Multi-player which is top-notch. If you compare the single-player to great FPS titles such as HL/HL2, Bioshock, or Portal it really doesn't even come close.
Multi-player on the other hand is AMAZING. Even without Dedicated servers I'm really having a blast. I've only experienced lag a couple of times, and even then it was only for...
The first boss just takes a little time... the Tower Knight will give you troubles, and you will most likely die a couple of times (especially if you're melee).
Also, you're glad you DIDN'T buy it because it would take you so long to finish? That doesn't make much sense to me... wouldn't you want to RENT the games you can finish quickly and BUY the games that have a longer play-life?
... just a thought.
When I read "Sambo" the first thing I thought of was "Fedor Emelianenko"
Definitely wasn't TOO hard, just trial and error and the levels were all very short.
I actually beat the last level on my 2nd try, though I'm sure I must have just been really lucky (only required stopping once)
And I would say as of now Daigo IS the top player in Japan.
He won 3 of the last 4 TRF tournaments he entered, (losing the most recent in 4th place) and then he went to EVO where he beat Justin Wong.
He has defeated Mago the last 4 times he has fought him in a tournament. Also, in some casual matches that were recorded, Daigo went 4-0 against Mago.
SFIV is still evolving (a lot of great Guile/Fuerte players getting into the spotlight in japan). But as o...
Maybe now I'll try to get back into MGO.
Just signing into the game to play for a little while was such a hassle.
This is looking great.
My Wii hasn't been hooked up for over half a year now... but that'll change when MH3 comes out. =)
About 2-3 years ago I heard rumors of a NEW MMO coming out from Blizzard called Solar System of StarCraft. The Rumor quickly disappeared and everyone seemed to forget about it except me, and people thought I was crazy whenever I brought it up.
It's time Blizzard! Show us Solar System of StarCraft so I can redeem myself!!! Muahahahahahhahhahhhaaaa!!!1!1 11!
... not that I would buy it.
Not sure why all the disagrees. I'm pretty sure Kojima himself has said that "Metal Gear" (which followed "Solid Snake") changed to "Metal Gear Solid" because it was now in 3D.
I know there is a lot of debate on whether or not it's a good thing to add damage to GT5 (I personally welcome it with open arms).
Hopefully they will finally show some footage of the damage system along with a release date. Asking for anything more would make me feel greedy =P.
well... maybe a free Damage Patch DL for Prologue?! =)
Was surprised it wasn't on the list. I got into the beta and really enjoyed the Multiplayer.
... though when the game came out I focused on the single-player and only dabbled in the Multiplayer for a little while.
Expected inFamous to be good, but not this addictive!
I've got to say I find this debate ridiculous and this is coming from someone who works full time as an Illustrator. Of COURSE Video Games are art. So much art goes into their creation and yet they themselves aren't art?
It seems like a lot of people who think video games aren't art think that people who say they are are just being snobby. I think it's the other way around. Imo pretty much everything is art. A dog taking a shit can be art. Does that make...
