EA must be rubbing their hands with glee at all the publicity these politicians are generating for them.

The video is now on YouTube if you can't watch it on Gameplanet (which you probably can't if you're not in New Zealand).

"High quality" version there too (or at least what YouTube calls "high quality").

The point is, nobody outside of Blizzard has seen enough of the game to know how the final product will look, so starting petitions is pretty silly. As suggested in the article, how do we know they didn't just use some WoW assets as placeholders to get a working build ready in time for the BWWI?

Did you actually read the article? The main comparison was of two 4850s in Crossfire versus the GTX 280, the Crossfire setup being cheaper and in our test turning in equivalent or better performance.

And the 9800GTX+ isn't out yet, we used an XFX 9800GTX XXX Edition which is almost identical.

We didn't notice a significant difference in pop-in or frame rate. What we did notice was that the 360 seemed to have better texture detail (particularly on Niko's face). Neither of the consoles appeared to have any AA; I suspect people may be confusing the PS3's bloom effect (which makes everything look blurry) for AA, which it is not.

There is another news article on N4G which claims the PS3 version is only 630p native compared with 720p native for the 360; if true, that woul...

Both consoles were plugged into the same 1080p D-series Sony Bravia LCD (using HDMI) to compare the graphics.

Yes you can adjust the colours on your TV, but that's not really the point is it. We were comparing the colours achieved using identical settings and just switching from one input to the other.

As stated in the article: "Neither console is graphically any better than the other, it's entirely a matter of preference..."
