The Razing storm arcade mode, Time Crisis 4, and Deadstorm pirates are on-rails.
The Time Crisis Story mode is free roam, as is the multiplayer which is probably going to be the main draw of the game.
PC pretty much gets most of the games that the xbox/PS3 gets. Almost all of the multiplatform GOTY games such as COD, Fallout, Bioshock, etc are all on PC.
In addition to that, there are some great PC exclusive games such as CIV, HOI, Total War, Diablo 3, SC, etc.
they'll get terrible sales if the game is only sold in ONE store...

I get that they are looking at this like a new console launch, but this is a bit of an overstatement.
Why compare to Gears of War?
The game is good, regardless of sales. Besides, Gears of War appeals a lot more to the younger crowd than Uncharted 2 does. Most young kids only want games that are considered "cool" like Gears of War, Grand Theft Auto, RDR, etc.
