gears 2?? that's being immensely overhyped...well, i don't know right now, but if it's not as "bigger, better, and more badass" as he says, he'll be screwed.

isn't this rather realistic? if two creatures were fighting to the death, there would be much more gore and chunks of blood and guts. really? i mean, how safe can you POSSIBLY make childhood? Teaching your children that everything is filled with cream puffs and lollipops is not a good idea.
that bioshock didn't take ANY awards!!! Goes to show....that whenever a truly great, almost unheard of game comes out, the lesser game that gets lots of hype wins. Really? i mean, none of my friends would own bioshock right now if I hadn't referred them to it.
And also, I wouldn't have been too upset if brawl won GOTY. of course, i would be surprised, but it is a great party game(oh wait, it didn't even win best party game?!? riiight, that's because the more widely-known game, rock...

I can't stand this. Valve has pretty much forgotten about the console versions. Month after month, PC users get new maps, achievements, weapons, and updates while consoles haven't seen ANYTHING. what the f*ck, valve? really!
why does nintendo keep shooting itself in the foot??? i mean, usually a company only does it once and then learns from its mistakes.. but with the hard drive"geek" incident and now Nintendo filing a lawsuit against a peripheral for it's own console? what are you doing???

yeah. i remember being like 7 or 8 and just getting the game. Ocarina has so many good memories tied to it that it just can't be surpassed in my book. It even shows today, since my favorite song in the (300+) brawl soundtrack is the Ocarina Of Time Medley.
I have played GTA4, and it's definitely not better than OOT. Ocarina is a masterpiece in every aspect, and GTA4 is up there too.... But you have to give props to OOT for being...what, 10 years old? The graphics in that game are considered horrendous to modern gamers(like my friends, who constantly bug me about it having a 2D city background[in hyrule village])...
So to ignorant gamers who don't give older games a chance, GTA4 is better. To more seasoned gamers, not so.
i've played mkwii, and it's DEFINATELY not anywhere lower than an 8.5... edge reviewers are on crack.
MCR isn't doing any emo music anymore, and they've all got some great talent. quit bitching. you'd all know this if you'd actually listened to their music....
