Ummm no, I tried like 10 different games on a wireless connection and detected no lag. Also gamestop/eb games does not sell the majority of games for like 2/3 dollars. Maybe if you've gone there more than once a year you'd see.

Played sf and no lag at all. Killzone has a tad lag but I think that's the game itself. I remember killzone having a weight lag in the game.
If your going on a yearly basis. Why not the 45 for 3 month option which equals to 180. Seems a lot less of a con there.

just tried my 7 day trial on ps now. Surprised how there is no lag and I'm on a wireless connection. Street fighter and the 5 others I played worked flawlessly.
Only hiccup I had when I uploaded a photo on my phone through the wifi connection.
