the best PS3 game was Uncharted :) that's not, I repeat NOT, an FPS
better lightning and sharper textures... can't you see?
but my PS3 demo does look a bit better then the right screenie, but way worse than that left screenshot
I think with some optimisation on cell-powered shaders (Uncharted, Killzone 2 and others used it too) and stuff like that this isn't impossible.. it's way more powerful then a 8800GTX, plus: 720p is enough for console games!

this offer is also in Holland, but the campaign started here in the second half of november (I think that's because we have "sinterklaasfeest", pretty similar to the presents-thingy in the rest of the world, on december 5th)
the only problem is that those crashes are pre-defined (scripted), but a lot of those crashes are looking pretty similar in animations.
It still looks like a game because of the textures (looks pretty "game-ish, or cartoonish") If they implement these crash models in Gran Turismo 5 I think it's damn close to reality!
