They basically said they didn't make enough money off of Heavenly Sword and said they wanted to go multiplatfrom, which wasn't the real issue. It's how they were saying it. They kept bashing Sony though. The 360 was red hot at the time and they thought it would sell well on Xbox.

This was a good game. I don't think it did well because Ninja Theory left a bad taste in PS gamers mouths at the comments they were making because of Heavenly Sword. I think it didn't do well also because people were comparing it to Uncharted.

Exactly. They have to most powerful console right now. They just need to focus on games, nothing more. Launching a new console with no compelling software would be a disaster.
Xbox hardware wasn't their hiccup, it was always online, making kinect mandatory, talking about tv, and price.
