I won't argue with you any longer, considering you're out there being bitter because FF has a real-time battle system.
Just quit and enjoy other JRPG series, since this won't be the series you, me and other FF fans have come to experience in the 'old days'. If FFXVI will bring back a turn based battle system similar to X's then that is what I truly desire. In the meantime, I have this to look forward to.

Failure after failure was the cause of all this dissatisfaction. Especially when you're looking at how they're handling the Lightning series. Come on, Dressing up Lightning? Why you would call that an FF is beyond me.

FFXV has a world map, playable party members, beautiful world with actual exploration etc. Everything you would expect from a FF.

I'm content with the way it looks. The graphics do look very lifelike apart from some jaggies here and there. I already was blown away. It may not look as good as some of the other next-gen games, but that doesn't mean it's not impressive.
I'm all for it. I'm not going to quit on this game after waiting for almost a decade. I don't think a battle system makes Final Fantasy what it is known for. Sure the classics were great, there is no denying that. However I'm not going to shove off a potentially good game because of one aspect.
Why are all these articles raving about how Final Fantasy has died? Leave it. Fucking hell, you guys are so clouded by your judgement on how the glory days have been you can't even see straight. Shut the fuck up and wait and see how their next titles do.

Exactly, the conclusions some of these so-called 'hardcore/traditional' fanboys really stagger me. So one of the mainline entries was bad, turns out every new entry will be 'crap'. It sucks that some people have this way of thinking. Both ARR and XV look promising, yet because they aren't turn-based they're not a 'True FF', whatever the fuck that means.
As I've mentioned before, I believe FF is in a coma. It's not dead, it just hasn't been transitioned well into HD. Hopefully next gen is when they can shine again.
EDIT: Also, I can't get over the fact that they keep comparing the new entry to Devil May Cry, as if to shrug DMC as a useless series for kids or something, that really irks me.
