It's going to be MGSV, Witcher III, or Fallout 4 IMO. It's amazing how no one can praise what game they liked the best without ignorantly bashing some other games. Just because you may like MGSV the most doesn't mean Witcher sucks(it doesn't), you can like a game more than another without saying it sucks because saying "oh MGSV is so expensive with so much to do and has intresting characters and story and you think Witcher is better haha how stupid" makes you an igno...
Wheres the Maloo?
@BiggerBoss that's exactly right, and for other publishers as well, they need to see huge AAA games be extremely profitable(Witcher III,Skyrim, GTA V etc.) or more companies will go the way of Konami.
I get both sides of it but sales really matter for AAA games right now at a time when Tomb Raider doing 6mil copies isn't good enough for SE and Alien Isolation doing 2.5 or whatever it was isn't good enough for Sega. Konami will do whatever Konami gonna do at this point they burned all their bridges and pretty much no one outside of Asia will support them. Publishers need to know big, interesting AAA games like MGSV are what we want games like Witcher III, Fallout 4 not saying those ...
It seems were the only three who have any clue what were talking about lol Bethesda has been knocking it out of the park with publishing recently they are letting talented developers make unique projects and even though they all haven't been great (Rage) they have all been promising games with interesting elements. The fact they are letting developers do cool projects is fantastic and every gamer reading this article should be excited but all the comments are ignorant, oh here comes the n...
This would include publishing, and the games they have been publishing lately have been fantastic. Dishonored, Wolfenstein, Evil Within and more. If they want to give more developers a chance to do something interesting then that's great news.
Yea I think he's basically dead but if there is anything left to salvage that's how you do it. Sonic doesn't need to sell huge numbers it probably never will but sonic, somehow, still has fans and he still has instant name recognition so a focused game made by passionate developers
is the first of many steps to getting sonic back on track
No I agree with that, I was commenting more on the Kojima, PT, moving out of console development controversy. That's stuff has been more recent and I haven't really read any articles on it so I don't know a lot of information about that stuff it sounds pretty bad though.
They need to do what they did with Creative Assembly and Alien Isolation. They found a talented developer with a passion for the IP and genre. They need to find a person/group of people who understand and love 2d platformers and give them some money and creative freedom. Game Freak just made Tembo, UbiArt is making fantastic Rayman games, Retro is making the incredible DKC games, and there are tons of great indie platformers. Either pay one of those studios(not sure which could actually do it...
The beginning of 2016 has a ton of great looking games coming out to though. Dishonored II, Deus Ex MD, Dark Souls III, Mirrors Edge Catalyst, Quantum Break, Doom, The Division, ReCore, Battleborn, and more are either dated for a release date earlier then Apr5 or Q1 and The Division is another Ubi game.
No Civic, really.
If crafting was implemented well with a lot of depth and customization it could be cool I just don't think it NEEDS it.
Good to know it isn't like an 1:30
I don't like what they are doing but I've been saying this for months. THEY ARE A BUSINESS,right? they want to, need to make money, now the best companies can make money and please consumers not all can though and with there other products they are satisfying their consumers, it's just their small portion of customers, us, the AAA game buying market who they have burned bridges with. Again I don't like what they are doing, but if they don't make money with AAA games then w...

Just play Alien Isolation it's probably the best survival horror of the last decade aside from Bioshock if you consider it a pure survival horror. IMO Isolation surpasses both the Resident Evil and Dead Space franchises the two it's most heavily inspired by.
Wow stellar timing with this Konami, really good, it's like when everyone was mad at Nintendo for the Amiibo shortages, and Nintendo completely ignored it and made a statement saying how much everyone loved Amiibos and it just made everyone more mad, yeah.
Looks cool
People don't play single player campaigns in games like COD or Halo and other multiplayer based games because they're garbage. You say people don't play single player but how much did Witcher III sell, Dying Light just passed 5mil, and how much did GTAV sell exactly,oh nothing right I wouldnt be surprised to see Fallout 4 hang with Battlefront. I don't care to see a multiplayer game without a campaign/singleplayer but it has to make up for it with more content. It can't be...
No. I don't care for cosmetic DLC or smaller 4.99 or so DLC packs. But the microtransactions in recent games like AC Unity, Mortal Kombat are absurd. Bad DLC has been a big topic recently but thankfully more and more developers are also figuring out how to do good DLC. Good DLC is good even if it's just cosmetic stuff if it's consumer friendly it's good, it's good to support our favorite game our favorite developers I think most people like to do that. I had absolutely no...
