It's not like they can't make a good Single Player campaign. The Bad Company games had simple story-lines but they were still interesting and featured a hell of a lot of fun set-pieces and awesome destructible combat.
Why can't Dice just use that formula, rather than make up a laughably short 4, hour campaign that doesn't even deserve to be there? Seriously, if you aren't even up for doing something, why do it half-arsedly?
The game is simply incredible. If you liked Arkham City than you would love this. The world is at least twice as big, there's a shitload of new events/items/challenges not to mention upgrades, enemies, much improved boss fights.
Also the younger Batman is much more deadly and badass (if that was even possible) and the story seems much more focused and intriguing.

I know graphics are overall prevalent when a new generation of consoles is expected (we PC folk know nothing of this, *cough* ;)) but this trend is becoming truly cumbersome. Polygon comparison? I can understand this development. Half Life is Valve's brand game - their Eifel Tower, if you will. Of course it is going to take a lot longer than making a sequel to either L4D, Team Fortress or Portal. I am not saying these newer titles (except TFT of course) aren't worth the wait and development time, however, they are rather new and proved to be rather successful and have an added selling point (which Valve has been really pushing lately... co-op).

It is a flameboyant topic for an obvious reason: Inifnite is available to all gamers (PC, Xbox 360, PS3) while TLoU is a PS3 exclusive. Yeah they can praise it all they want and it might be a great game but the fact remains - Bioshock was played by far more people than TLoU because it was multyplatform. It is difficult to pit and exclusive against a successful multyplatformer and expect people not to over react.
