The "let's go" games shouldn't affect the main game that comes out next year. I hope not anyway or I'll probably just play the older ones instead.
No one expected the Switch to do as well as it has. We should get some amazing games for it with Nintendo throwing all their resources at one platform from now on.
That's good. I'm glad Nintendo has gone down this new hybrid path with the Switch, it suits them. Sony can stick to what they do best with Graphically intense games.

We've all had this argument a million times, Pokémon has always been goofy since the start. Grimer is a pile of slop, magnemite is a magnet, Executtor is eggs etc. Each gen has its share of awesome and ridiculous Pokémon to cater to everyones taste.
If you don't like the ice cream Pokémon, don't catch it, kill it, and go after the cool looking Dragon type your heart desires...
