Bungie's next project is a completely new IP. Whether or not it's an FPS hasn't been announced yet.
Also, Halo isn't all they've done. They did the Marathon series, Myth 2 (RTS), Oni (third-person action), Abuse (shmup), Minotaur (dungeon crawler), Operation: Sandstorm (top-down shooter) Pathways into Darkness and more. All very different styles of games.

Activision aren't a developer.
Fake. When you send someone a game invite, you can fiddle with the text and make it say whatever you want. I could send you a message over XBL inviting you to play Mario 64 - doesn't mean anything.
Also, the fact the game's title doesn't have a colon, but ends with a fullstop is a sure sign it's a fake.
Not really a valid argument. That's all automated based on the categories the story is given. Rob's article was tagged as Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and PC as they are all relevant. The link is totally random, and if you replaced "xbox360" with any other console, the link would still work.
