Even if I left gameplay out of it, the story isn't much better than a 7. If this were a movie, I would fall asleep.
EA is so full of crap. Their marketing is lame, aimed at children and idiots, and they publish the weirdest things. I mean, Medal of Honor, really? They had to make that game? And they backed down with the whole taliban thing. Grow a spine. They want to make everyone happy, and they are making no one happy.

You could maybe give it a higher score, I just went my gut on it. I was disappointed with the game. It wasn't completely awful, but it's such a let down from the other great games that Bioware has made.
It could have been so much more. Disappointment definitely took away a point from the final score.
It looked interesting. It definitely is an interesting concept. We'll see how the game plays once it's done.

Dude, it's an RPG. You kill things, find loot, level up, and you play as an elf. What more do you want?
PC will get a 75 on metacritic, Xbox will get a 60. That's my bet for this game.
I'll probably wind up playing both of these games, even though they are not the best games coming out this year. I love knights and the middle ages, and I love Lord of the Rings. They'll probably be what I pick up in the fall when everyone else is playing another crappy call of duty game or something.
