Well we knew that something like this was coming, after they chose(MS and Sony) to go for pc architecture x86 cpu/gpu.
I get it ppl dont need to "like" everything, but the hate for sony and ps4 is just stupid, is amazing how some ppl hate something just cause is doing better that the product that they love.
Lets see one company offers a console for games, have exclusives and vr coming, the other try to offer games, dont have vr or exclusives anymore and according to their user base movies are more important... mmm

Yes lets not forget the last gen, xbox360 was out for a full year and got a nice advantage, now ps4p is gonna have that year plus the fact that PS always sell better world wide.

And that would be the developers "fault" not ps4p, i mean they can just patch the game so it can work in the ps4p and do nothing or so little about increasing the performance or graphic quality, not adding hdr support, or increasing the fps, effects, etc...
But like you say we are gonna know much when sites like df do a extensive research about the games working in the ps4p.
I think ppl is talking more about "new" games and not old games, sure old games can be "remaster" to 4k, but talking about new games, games that are gonna use more effects, polygons, particles, etc... there's where the consoles are gonna struggle, sure maybe they can do 4k for those games, but not and the same quality/fps that a pc with a premium gpu/cpu.
And here you come with common sense, c'mon joeorc stay with the tune, we need to moan and say is the doom for ps4, cause now ppl buy consoles to see movies and not to play games.

The game is not for everyone thats for sure, i would love to try it once is f2p not enough time to game these days D:
