Really, complaining about batteries... that's just absurd. How about complaining about 2 of my 4 ps3 controllers that simply don't hold a charge anymore? Am I supposed to throw them away?
I know some will advise me to open it and mess with it in order to get to that battery, order a replacement online and replace it myself. Well, that really seems like a better alternative than popping the battery cover up and inserting a pair of AA eneloops, right?
Most importantly: cars can now actually fail from damage. That's something I really didn't know until now. Consider me officialy excited for online leagues.
The World Cup is already under way, because the Qualifiers are a part of it.
Any more comments please?
You're right, I might have to check his game out, now.
@majjiebeast
You are completely right. Those are advantages Sony has, and although it's not impossible to see MS doing good at launch, it's an uphill battle.
I'm actually more excited for tbe Xbox because of Forza, but you are completely right.
+bubble for speaking clearly and whithout fanboyism.
I can only imagine F1 2014 for the next gen consoles...
Really? A He-Man game was just released? I might have to check it out, if only to see how ridiculous it must have turned out to be.
Hopefully Chillingo got the license for free, I can't see someone paying top bucks for He-Man nowadays.
24 online players for the average joe may seem like just more idiots to hit you, but imagine what online leagues will do about it... with custom liveries, that's 12 2-car teams. That's gonna be awesome, now I have to find a new league to join, since the one I participate won't migrate to XOne right away.
Can anyone recommend anything? Thanks in advance.
I wonder what would people say if GT6 was a launch title for the PS4. It's the exact equivalent of Forza 5 being a XOne launch title, except that Forza has a much higher metacritic score.
It literally means CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY THAT DAMN GAME. That alone makes XOne launch lineup worthy.
Well, does that argument also apply to Forza 5 being 60fps and Driveclub being 30? Or in this case it's, you know, perfectly comprehensible?
I've tried head tracking in GT5 and Forza 4, and although it sounds good on paper, I rarely use it nowadays. I don't miss it at all.
Really, reading the news, it's obvious he's talking about the Xbox One version.
Everyone knows the PS4 is a beast. If he's saying the he was SURPRISED about one of the consoles, it's obvious it's the X1, which everyone is assuming is underpowered.
Ah, Ducktales. Can't wait to play you tonight. I don't care about your so called 'flaws', I just wanna get to the moon and enjoy the score with tears in my eyes. Thank you, Disney/Capcom/Way Forward. Thank you very much.
Excellent point!
So THAT is why no PS4 demoed games looked nicer than XO's Forza 5, according to Digital Foundry.
Mediocre? With Forza 5 in it, it will never be mediocre.
By the way, which 2 extra games the PS4 has that makes you think it's gotten a much better line up? The fantastic Killzone that never sold well to begin with or the amazing Knack that's a completely new and unknown IP?
Cause Cod, BF4, AC4, Watchdogs, Fifa and Madden will be in both systems. And Xbox has Forza 5, best rated racing game for the last 5 years or so.
IMO, Xbox'...
I'm really glad this is a pseudo free PSN PLus game, just like Killer Instinct on XBox One, because I would never fork out 60 bucks for either of them. I'd like to give it a try, though, and that's what I'm gonna do as soon as my pre-ordered consoles at Amazon get to me.
I'm happily paying full price for Forza 5, though.
Exactly.
Fanboys are unbelievable.
Since the dawn of controllers, your thumb rested precisely on the dpad and the face buttons.
MS was clever enough to figure out that nowadays the dpad has been replaced for the left analog stick as the primary input method, and that's why the 360 controller has the left analog stick where it is now: where dpads used to be.
Fanboys could make a point that the right analog stick should also ocuppy the face buttons place to ...
