I dont have a problem, i just said i dont understand why anyone would want one.
Maybe the TV aspects of it are bigger in the US, but pretty much everyone i know just uses catch up apps and Netflix. But im more on about MS's money grabbing techniques and countless backtracking.

Not to mention all the other PC stuff you would need that he missed out. Like a cabinet/table for the PC, PC chair, antivirus software, an OS. Then you need a headset too if you really care about online and maybe a controller.
Whereas a console you just plug straight in and leave it in/on your tv cabinet.
Then theres the hassle of updating the tens of drivers on the PC to keep it working properly with games. Long ass install times and more frequent crashing/freezing.

I agree with his points though, i probably watch about 5 hours worth of Freeview TV a month. Everything else i get from Catchup apps (4od, Iplayer etc, ps3 was perfect for that and it was all free). So that big feature on the One would be useless to me and many other people too.
And the Kinect, from the demos ive seen, you could just use the controller and load the game faster than saying, 'Xbox play Forza Motorsport 5...

All i'm saying is, my launch day PS3 lasted 3 years longer than the Xbox 360 i purchased 3 years after (both died this year).
PS4 is more reliable.
Oh also my 360 power brick developed issues a year before the console died, in which i had to keep plugging it in and out over and over until it stayed on. So having it external from the machine couldnt have done much to prolong its life...

I just wish someone like Angry Joe could interview Phil without sugar coating his questions. Really put him on the spot and prod for answers as to why the final build of F5 is so weak compared to what was shown earlier in the year. And why these launch games either cant run at 60fps at 1080p at all, or can but have to be downgraded to do so.
I dont mind the Xbox One, i can see what their vision was, but to plainly lie about the performance of the system is whats irritating.
