I'm not one for swords and magic, so I may/may not be picking this one up, but I am excited for it soley because of the thought of the prospect of a Fallout 4 made on the same engine.
I feel bad for thinking that a DL title means a not-so-good game, because this game does sound very good. It just seems that these titles never get good reviews (DL only ones), keeping me away from purchasing. I think this might change that however.
But then again, it makes sense if the campaign is relatively short with no open-endedness (a la Fallout or Deus Ex, where game length and replayability make SP only more than justified).

Oooh, can't wait for that feeling of awesomeness from watching the debut GTA IV trailer all over again...And the months of anticipation. The only downside is that it has slightly diluted my anticipation for Battlefield 3 (not out til Friday in Ireland)

I don't see how this would make sense, personally: GTA San Andreas not only had a fictional LA, but also San Fransisco and Las Vegas- surely if they are going to have an LA setting, it will be accompanied by the other two... Otherwise it's going to be a step back (or sideways from GTA IV) instead of forward.

Last years HP wasn't enough like the old games, which had more realistic handling, and you actually arrested people, not murdering them by smashing them into an oncoming truck.

Yeah, the demo was very iffy. I hated how if you went off road the car was reset, and the car flashes from invisible to visible for 5 seconds, like those old racing arcade games. And the crashes are lame =(
Also, I would debate that Hot Pursuit looks nicer!
Did the Beta use this HD pack within the install?
Lol the gun on the non-HD pack looks like the graphics found on guns in Perfect Dark on N64
