Well your half right, actually Sony cannot afford a price drop right now, the PS3 just recently MAY have become profitable, this is not the time for a price drop as far as they are concerned.
You were right about 360, it is doing very well for it to be so late in its life, since PS3 is not dropping in price, and 360 is still outselling PS3 and holding on to 2nd place, MS will not be dropping the price.
nono this is actually great news for Sony, the last several NPDs, PS3s sales have went down year over year. Remember the reports about Xbox 360 being the only console to increase year over year, well this time PS3 went up as well.

Anyone know if the in game footage we have seen is rendered or just pictures of actual cars in 360 degree views. The cars are literally photo realistic and no one is talking about that fact!

Im not sure I agree with that, I played GT5, and it was a complete mess, it only did ONE thing right, and that is the physics you mentioned. Good physics is not enough to make up for the trainwreck that was everything else about the game, the awful sound, the lack of car diversity, the crazy shadows, standard cars?, moronic sound track, horrid damage model, FM3 was 3 times the sim GT5 was, based on sound, damage and AI alone.
Well that is the nature of this site, since I atarted coming here i noticed if any positive 360 news comes out, you will see dozens of PS3 fans in the comment section trashing it, they have to get in that they dont want the feature any way, MS paid someone off, and the feature is just stupid in the first place.

Most likely the 360 version is ahead of the other two, this is in no way taking away from the quality of the games overall because the 360 version will just sit there until the PS3 version catches up in development.
Sony does not allow developers to release games late on PS3 anymore, devs are required by Sony to launch at the same time as 360 or they have to add something to the PS3 version.
I dont think its a matter of being paid. We saw the same thing when PS3 first came out with motion controlled sixaxis. Many developers were putting gimmicky crap in games just because Sony most likely asked them to.
The console makers and software developers do things like this to help one another out.
