Yeah, I'm not a believer myself but I found this to be really refreshing.
I appreciate open letters like this. I've stepped away from the mic in many games... permanently.
i loved eating my way out of people as the alien. (insert pun)
For me, These retro devices are all about the controller. The Retron line does the best job addressing that by allowing you to plug in classic controllers. The Wii virtual console drives me crazy because of its controllers. And no, the Pro controller does not make up for it.
As someone who really appreciates solid re-releases, it's always refreshing when a publisher puts a lot of love into the package. Halo: The Master Chief Collection is a prime example. It's equally disappointing when a company mails it in.
"Played Metal Gear Solid and decided Grey Fox was cool AF" BAHAHAHHAHAHA
Done myself a lot of Final Fantasy Reading.
These ads were so watered down in the US.
Stopping production seems odd since it was such a success. But I'm assuming someone crunched the numbers and realized the virtual console is better financial play.
I have never played one of these but the coverage on this one has made me highly consider this. Any thoughts?
I have to admit, the reboot character designs were a bit douchy.
the game world is creepy AF, hopefully they capture that in the film
good point
I really liked their fight sticks, its too bad.
@opinionated, I rarely agree with you but you're making some great points here. It's a level discussion I rarely see on N4G. It's appreciated.
Well, it appears there will actually be consequences.
I have to finish Zelda before I can dig into this game. But i'm very excited to.
If it was trying to model the horror genre then it does a good job of its most fatal flaw... dropping the tension for action.
Agreed, the great one was World at War, which i thoroughly enjoyed.
i have been pretty upset with the lack of support and communication on the Virtual Console, but Metroid anything made me forget that quick.
