As truly unfortunate the earthquake that hit Japan was on on the country fortunately for the gaming industry that 90 million dollars is a lost dispersed across the whole biz and not just one company like a Konami, Sony, or Nintendo..hopefully things get better.
Dreamcast did some things very well including the modem, the starting price, the great 2D sprite handling ability, and was a great fighting console. It's just too bad that before it could even come out Sony announced that PS2 is coming a year later. We'll see at E3 just how accurate everything on the net has been but at least it's been fun thus far!

E3 will tell all and hopefully Retro will be a part of it because they are one talented company! Part of your statement to me is determined by WHEN Wii 2 comes out. Yes if it comes out in 2013 as you suggested then seeing a Retro game beforehand would be great. If Wii 2 comes out in 2011 or 2012 then I want all of their current efforts going into a next gen title.

With Sony's NGP being shown for the first time, our current gen consoles being 4-5 years old, and 3DS now out. Who knows what kind of awesome can come from the show?
