To push the series forward a darker tone would definitely keep the uncharted series fresh. Stories have been pretty basic in previous installments

Yup deffo agree that uncharted 2 knocked it out the park this generation, not sure what tomb raider is doing above last of us though
the graphics and look of the game is really nice and I mean really nice, but the gameplay didn't exactly stand out to me, unless the game has a different feel which you can't tell until you play.
Just because there know for great pc graphics doesn't mean they are good developers.
Writer is a complete idiot, it was only 7 years ago when people were criticizing the ps3's launch that there were no titles that people recognized for the ps3, putting out games like killzone are simply for the purpose of giving current owners of a playstation console the incentive to buy the ps4.
I don't think this was aimed at the casual uncharted community, being a regular I breezed myself to gold in ten 10 tickets and play about 3-4 times a week, so I think its your fault not reading into this a little more than you should have, if you can't get 15+ kills in a game it isnt for you tbh.

power wise the wii-u isnt that far ahead of the ps3 or 360 so yh if the ps4 was less powerful than wii-u it would moreorless be on the same level as the ps3 which would make absoloutely no sense
halo is a big title and it was the biggest fps before CoD came along, Im not saying it will beat CoD in sales but it is quite a well known title.

not really I have several alone plus my brother has his own account to. There are countless people having multiplae accounts, it doesn't necessarily reflect upon how many people own a ps3
gears 3 is the current best looking 360 game in my opinion. It would be awesome for halo to even have graphics on the same level of gears let alone be the best looking 360 game

With the amount of guns they have it is def a difficult task, Uncharted right now is having problems with weapon balance, asfter patch 1.03 everyone was frustrated with the fal and then 1.04 they nerfed the fal and now the g-mal is becoming a concern in the community, Uncharted 2 never had this problem because it had less guns. Uncharted only has 4 primary weapons to choose from, call of duty has dozens if not more. SO the task of finding a balance is a big ask.

well that'll be a def good reason to purchase a ps4, atleast sony are learning from their mistakes with the ps3. If there is a uc4 then it should be for the ps4, I dont see much they can do with another game on the ps3 (improvement wise). WIth next gen hard drive, you can improve graphics, AI and have other features which current gen consoles wouldn't be able to do.
Its a beta, the main point is to get feedback be it negative feedback thats the point of a beta. Most of the people who deem it perfectly fine are usually just casuals who no one takes serious.
