I really don't think they'd have left it so late if they were never planning for it to come out on next gen consoles. Even if it's another year before we see it, I really do think it will arrive. PC version too.

I want to play new games. If backwards compatibility was a real, important issue (and not just something for boring people to constantly complain about), I'd have taken the issue up years ago with Nintendo over my Super Nintendo not being able to play my NES games.
