Lower scoring games are normal first year of cycle. Companies are going to do anything hype up their games beyond belief to compensate for the fact they are still learning the hardware.

The driveclub situation is just flat out embarrassing. The devs had a year of extra time, and they clearly still weren't ready. The issues with the servers should of been rectified by now.

Other than stuff like shadows and lighting, when a game hits both 1080p, there's not a lot of difference. Definitely not a 50% difference playstation fans throw around.
