This wasn't an issue to begin with. Millions of devices use unnecessary power. Xbox is one of them, but so is the ps4 and Wii u.

You have to get a Ds lite, plug in the adapter to the gba port, then get y splitter and wire it to the Wii u USB port in the back(definitely not the front) then insert the Ds game in the disc slot.

In all honesty both the Xbox one and ps4 suck way more energy than needed, especially when using apps like Netflix. Both consumer over 50 watts while other devices like roku and fire tv use under 5 watts.
