If you think phishing scams are the only way this is happening you're mistaken. Most people are smart enough to not give their information up, and yet they still get locked out of their account, and then get the cc bill. Try to work that out with MS when it happens, I have friends who's accounts are still in limbo. Truth, not fanboy bs.
"changes"? I can deal with updates, and I love this game. But forgive me if I sound crazy but when I buy a product I expect something complete. This is not bf3 hate, just a comment on the industry as a whole. I know I'll get hate, but I'd like to put my hard earned money towards a FINISHED product. But I've been fooled into buying a ton games in the last year...
@dirty- Nah, it was more like they go to log in after a vacation, and their password has changed. Then they get the credit card bill. But way to call people you've never met dumb! Knowledgeispower!
I don't know, I mean if there was a coordinated attack on xbl do you think it would be any better? I know at least 7 friends who have had their accounts hacked on there. It was awful, and security should've been better, but I don't think anyone could've thought that was a possibility at launch. But I just wanna thank anonymous for screwing over us little people for no reason...
On one hand, I think fans of the series have a right to be upset that they won't get a chance to play the game that was originally proposed, especially story-wise. I know I'm not the only one disappointed that I won't get to see what happened between 2 and 4. But that said, whining about it now won't bring it back. I'll be waiting for more info, maybe even reviews before I check it out, and I think that's okay.
This is exactly why I play BF3. I was a fan of MW1, and 2 to some extent, but the mp on this one was a joke. I even gave it awhile before I quit, because I didn't want to hate it just because it's COD, but it was seriously terrible.
I love that they release a game called "revelations", which gives no answers, and then release the good bits later. Too bad I already sold the game, guess ill get to skip the boring gameplay and then read the "revelations" online. I used to love the AC series, but this one has ruined all the good they've done.
Lefties unite! Except this is why I rarely feel the need to log in on n4g.
