It has evened quite a bit, but for the first 2-3 years, many developers had issues porting the 3rd party titles, so you saw better performance and even graphics. Things have evened quite a bit, but even as recently as Skyrim, we had a much better version on 360 than on PS3. Still, it's night and day from 4 years ago on improvement from 3rd party developers regarding the PS3 platform.
