It's like the horse armor fiasco all over again, but worse since it actually affects gameplay. Hopefully this doesn't become the norm.
I haven't purchased a new Madden game since '05 but it actually looks like this one may be worth it.
Agreed. Apple promised speed and they absolutely delivered.
You can't go wrong with Peggle for a single, measly dollar.
StuntCopter maybe?
Surely it is a coincidence that both were launched on the same day. Either way, Lode Runner is one of the greatest Apple II games evar!
As long as you have your iPhone with you on that deserted island, you can just play the game to distract yourself from your inevitable demise, since I would assume AT&T has little coverage on an island.
That's exactly it. It's not like all of these people who purchased the application didn't know what they were getting, because everyone and their mother knew that SlingPlayer Mobile for the iPhone only offered WiFi support.
Still, that is a ton of money in only the first few days. I am sure they are at least back to even already after the development costs.
The fact that the high score is exactly double the second place score just seems really fishy to me.
Once you sign up for a cloudcell account and can compare your scores and rankings with other players, it becomes more than alright.
You just have to somehow not make a mistake! My highest score right now is 868 and every time I have crashed it has been a careless mistake as Odie so kindly pointed out.
Hopefully Bioshock 2 doesn't fall into this category.
Newtoy has already made an iPhone game, so this isn't their first project for the iPhone as the article states. They have already created a free chess game called "Chess with Friends."
Not only that, but this was already posted on N4G, just without Halo Wars in the title: http://n4g.com/mobile/News-...
Not trying to nitpick, just pointing out the obvious.
Gives a whole new meaning to rock star treatment.
Not a fan of Nine Inch Nails music at all, I think Trent's voice is fairly awful. I do, however, understand his complaint. The bigger issue here is that it is a rock star getting his way, instead of actual developers getting through to Apple. I doubt this will change anything.
It seems to not have fully propagated to all of the iTunes servers, but if you follow the link contained within the article, there is a direct link there.
Seriously, finally!
It's too bad Apple's developer approval process is getting in the way.
About $490,000 in less than two months, I want in!
Haha, poop is just funny stuff. At least Apple has a sense of humor when it comes to poop.
These titles are already gorgeous on the iPhone. They will look stunning on the iPad.
