If you have a 2006 60gb or any other backwards compatible console you will get a downgrade. Its not worth it for a smaller version.
However if you dont have a ps3 the slim is a great bargain. That trade isnt just to clarify.

That was one of my few complaints that killzone MP didnt have the flamethrower. Now we just need a party mode for friends and the online is perfected.
