Their was a pop up then removal of a New Nintendo console yesterday by Nintendo for their E3 Digital Event. Maybe it's this?
I'm sure Nintendo have something in the works. They always do. Can't wait for E3!!!
Looks so good! Can't wait! I need to race against some of the N4G Nintendo fans. We could set up a N4G Mario Kart Tournament for like Saturdays. Just a thought lol.
I was blown away with the new direct for Mario Kart 8 today. I found it A LOT more enjoyable then some of the other directs that have come up. I hope Nintendo sticks with this format. I like how everything feels funny and engaging.
I'm having a hard time choosing between Shy-Guy or Larry Koopa. Might just need to customize my Kart first and see who looks the best in their rig.

That's great news! Clearly this Direct is helping to propel Nintendo into super hype mode for E3. Nintendo just need to maintain it until E3 next month.
Nintendo has stated their giving Mario Kart 8 a Years worth of advertising. Were talking commercials, online advertising, journalists, toys, and anything else you can dream of lol.
@SilentNegotiator: I have to disagree because isn't it the same journalist that are aware that Nintendo are doing a Direct/Digital Event? They still get to report the very same news.
Also, who is it going to reach out to more? The casual audience? From what journalist and arm chair journalist keep saying is that market has moved on. Nintendo can't rely on that market.

Me personally I would of swapped out Zombie U for Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze. Other then that, that's a pretty good list of games to beat.
Top 5 Wii U virtual console games you need to play and beat. Would make another great list of games I would like to see you write.

@Sly: What I always do is go on Youtube and watch some videos and get an idea as to what the game plays and looks like. I could tell you its awesome but you might not like the style of play.
Like what Random said. Mario and Luigi Super Star Saga is also amazing. Make sure to check out some gameplay first just to make sure that is a type of game you would enjoy.
