@Lovable : the whole game can be soloed and there are vids of people doing it (at least for past games). I recommend everyone try soloing as it's great way to learn monsters. Also, I would rather solo if no friends are on. Nothing sucks more than getting in a pick up group and having it fail because others keep dying.
Same. I'm a vet so I like to solo all monsters before I multi. I've always hated diablo and have hard time soloing in MH3... I'm scared, lol.
"Starpoint Gemini Warlords is created in our own game engine, and that engine is rather friendly with the Xbox One and PC platforms, but PlayStation 4 is its nemesis. " If they can't code for PS4, it gives me doubt to their skills as developers. Guess time will tell.
Not exclusive if it comes out for PC too.
It usually means they don't know what they're doing
I doubt Gabe would do it, he's already a billionaire and is known to do things how he wants them, so I doubt he'd let someone else decide things for him. But, business being business, I honestly don't know if he could prevent this if the share majority was bought by MS.
Author is very out of touch with gaming, yet writes articles about gaming. Talk about a bad career choice.
I haven't had any problems playing with friends. It's story missions this person is trying to join which is a small portion of the game. This is a multi-player game, not a complete co-op game.
Not saying this is related, but Monster Hunter is what got me into Dark Souls. Not because I thought they were similar, but rather the person's videos I watched for MH started reviewing Dark Souls and got me interested. Love both games for different reasons.
buy for the console you own? If you're one that has both (don't see often, usually smart choice is PS4 and PC instead so you get access to all games), I would go PS4. This has nothing to do with graphics / performance, rather, I think there will be a greater community access compared to the XB1.
Captain obvious writer. Well, they're not athletes for one.
The first Dragon Age was spectacular and the successor to Baldur's Gate. Then they adapted the controls for console players and the game and the sequels just weren't as good. I think Bioware lost their magic years ago, now they're just EA flunkies that crank out games for profit, not for the love of games.
DS4 feels better compared to the xbox controller.
It's a problem with people, not just gaming.
I'd rather they focus on something that can handle the graphics like they're doing for MHW, instead of something more cartooney for the Switch.
watch out, newnormative will shame you for not being fat. out of all the crap sites that make it to N4G, these folks have the worst agendas.
I have no idea how this will turn out, but if someone told me to experience this I needed to pay $80 for cardboard that I need to assemble myself, I'd think they were crazy. My experience with cardboard cutouts is they bend and tear and don't last. Fans have been asking for a virtual console for retro games, instead we get this.
because they're having fun?
Guess knowtechie doesn't know tech at all if they think this.
