Can't argue with that....
Great review, very informative.
Kirby games aren't usually my cup of tea though, so I think I'll pass on this one.
Be interesting to see if the WiiU will change Kirby in any way...
Luckily it's only a week but that's not the point.
Guess I'll take respite in the fact that it's free...
There's a surprise...
*sigh*
You should definitely give the series a chance.
It's well written, funny and the characters are really well developed (especially over the course of the series) and the artwork is fantastic.
Fantastic article, and very well written.
Some excellent points, especially those involving multiplayer.
Can't wait.
Quite possibly my favourite game series. Hopefully it gets a western release...
Yes finally!
Great news. Now we just have to hope for a western release....
Nice idea - in terms of visiting a past time using the animus.
The problem is fitting it into the storyline. We know from the last game that Desmond ended up at the co-ordinates from the Da Vinci DLC and that they mark the location of the Grand Temple.
The Grand Temple is the place that houses the 6 solutions that came closest to preventing the solar flare disaster, and unless they pad it out and make it so that whatever is inside requires more knowledge fro...
What the COD games do well is the 'one more go' aspect of them.
The XP and unlockables give a huge incentive to continue playing. Factor in the number of people that play and just how addictive it is (and the feeling that you need to one up your friends etc) and it's a recipe for success.
People spend a lot of time hating on the games for various reasons but the simple truth is that they are incredibly fun too...
Nice review - definitely made some good points there, and having played the demo I'm pleased to get a little more info.
Interesting - but concept designs always are.
I'd wager the PS4 will look nothing like any of these.
But in fairness to Sony they usually get the aesthetics right though..
I could understand the cheap shot if the Remakes were all Sony were putting out - but their first party games are both high in number and quality, something Microsoft can't claim at this point in time.
Seems pointless to take shots for remaking games when you aren't releasing any quality, old or otherwise....
Can't argue with that.
But knowing that they can put these games out exactly as they are and still make plenty of money, you wonder if the motivation to improve them is there.
Yes, they upped the resolution on the GTA3 ios game - but that's it.
And what with them working on GTA5, would it be worth them going to all the trouble (and would it be something they even want to do? Potentially wasting time and resources etc).
Who said it was a camp fest?
And by the wording of my comment, it's pretty clear that I HAVE played the game (and continue to play the game).
Can't argue with that!
Sound logic.
Without knowing exactly what happened it's easy to put a spin on it to show the story in it's worst light.
Constantly respawning enemies is another cheap way of adding difficulty to a game.
I always thought Goldeneye N64 had a decent way of increasing the difficulty the higher level you played - it added more objectives rather than simply increasing enemies life or making them suddenly a million times more proficient with a weapon.
It's no surprise that a map like Dome would be voted favourite - the size of it dictates that it's always busy, making campers less frequent. The downside of this is that it can become far too frantic.
The problem MW3 suffers from is that there is definitely a lack of balance in the maps. They are either too large or too small making tactical matches a lot harder to play 'honestly'.
That said, it can be incredibly fun.
Definitely agree, Groose is one of the best newcomers in gaming over the past year.
Glad to see Nintendo finally fleshing out their characters - even if they are slightly cliched.
