I don't think you need PSN for a game update. Just yesterday I put in Rock Band 3 and it had an update and I was able to download it.

I say we should quit speculating on whats going to happen/ be announced at E3 and just let microsoft,ninty, and sony surprise us. We know they're each going to have something good to share lets just wait a see what it is.

Its weird I can access netflix on my fat ps3, but every time I try to do it on my slim it won't let me. I get the network error do it two more times then it lets me choose which show I want (but instead on working normally like it does on my fat) I get the same network errors over and over and it won't stop.
