The 360 takes up 2 gigs on the DVD for some sort of Security device. The maximum amount of game data on a 360 game is around 7 gigabytes.
Also, Lost Odyssey would easily fit on a HD-DVD, the game data is multiplied across every DVD, all that changes is some text, the cutscenes and maybe some music and model assets.
On topic of FF7, I hated switching CD's then, I would hate it now.

Judging by the compression artifacts, the terrible discoloration of blacks, and the motion artifacting (albeit, slightly, but existent), in my opinion, the two mediums don't compare. HD-DVD and Blu-Ray are far superior. I just can't wait for Java and internet components to be implimented into Blu-Rays, can't get enough of them as it is.
I hate video on demand services.
Using the Xbox one, and my cable set-top box to order HD movies, (MAYBE it's just me) but they definitely don't feel like they play in HD. I'm saying this as someone who is genuinely a big fan of HD cinema and I can see the difference when I pop-in a Blu-Ray, and then when I order a High-Definition movie from Illico right after (A HD movie provider in Canada, Montreal).
